Vale of Clwyd Senedd Member Gareth Davies MS has announced the winner and runners-up of his Christmas Card Competition. He received an impressive number of creative and imaginative entries from primary school pupils across the constituency.
This year’s winning design, created by Maisie Green, aged 6, from Ysgol Bodfari, will feature on the front of Mr Davies’s official 2025 Christmas card. The card will be sent to hundreds of people locally and nationally, including Senedd Members, MPs, community organisations, businesses, and key stakeholders across the region.
Second place was awarded to Nia, Year 6, Fairholme Preparatory School, and third place was achieved by Amber from Ysgol Dewi Sant.

“I’m delighted to announce this year’s talented winners of my Christmas Card Competition with each entry demonstrating incredible creativity and festive spirit – making picking a winner is a very tough decision!
“A huge congratulations to our winner, Maisie, from Ysgol Bodfari whose wonderful design perfectly captured the warmth and joy of Christmas. Nia from Fairholme Prep and Amber from Ysgol Dewi Sant also produced fantastic artwork that really stood out to claim the 2nd and 3rd spots.
“My Christmas Card Competition is really one of the highlights of my year, and I’m always amazed by the artistic talent of children across our region. Thank you to everyone who took part – we have some very talented home-grown artists in the Vale of Clwyd.”
